Our WOM Team
Residual values, people, and IT – that is what makes us successful. Our more than 60 employees in currently seven departments at our location in Karlsbad contribute to this. Together we form an international team and a strong community with the common goal of providing the best possible service to every customer.
I took over the management of the branch in March 2017. My job is to take care of the representation and development of WOM.
In the long run, you can assert yourself only through good and sustainable performance, innovative ability, and customer service. That is why I think it is important to form the team continuously and with a good sense of proportion. Satisfied employees create an ideal environment with the flexibility to make the necessary changes.

IT and Development
We master both small and large technical challenges at WOM. This includes internal and external IT support as well as all aspects of the technical development and implementation of the WOM auction platform. We are not only the contact for our colleagues but also for our business partners for whom we always have an open ear in order to meet their individual requirements.
In our department, we are responsible for the insertion of expert reports, which we receive by email. The correct transmission of data and the blackening of vehicle images require full concentration and a responsible way of working from our 17 full-time and part-time employees every day. We also show our commitment at the weekend to be able to guarantee our customers a prompt termination of their appraisals.
Our core business is the valuation of all types of accident damaged vehicles. A particular challenge here is to always meet the various customer expectations and to provide our customers with the best possible support when submitting bids on our platform. This requires excellent knowledge of the industry and a market-oriented approach with a constant eye on changes in the market.
International buyer service (IBS)
Our team ensures the smooth running of all vehicle sales via WOM. Our tasks primarily include contract processing and brokerage in the national and international salvage business as well as scheduling and coordinating vehicle processing. Particular challenges are the communication with various contractual partners as well as coordination with and adherence to their current deadlines. After all, our goal is to continuously improve our customer service and to make the purchase and sale of vehicles as easy as possible for everyone involved.
The finance department is responsible for the prompt settlement, booking, and payment of all incoming and outgoing deliveries and services at WOM. The tasks include the timely preparation of financial statements and internal reporting as well as controlling in order to analyse booked figures and make them available to the management as control variables and forecasts. The constantly changing legal and tax regulations must be observed and implemented. We are thus the qualified contact for questions of the management and the internal departments as well as external addressees such as auditors, tax consultants, banks, and insurance companies.
In our marketing team, we are responsible for all external and internal marketing activities of WOM as well as Copart Germany. This makes our everyday life even more varied and interesting than it already is. The planning and implementation of international/national advertising campaigns, trade fair appearances, and events as well as the maintenance and further development of our websites are only one part of our diverse field of activity in which we use our creativity and our strategic skills daily to contribute to the success of the company.

Our WOM family is growing. This is why we also keep a close eye on our potential employees. Here, too, appreciative interaction plays an important role.
